Being a single woman at the time when I bought my home was scary and intimidating. David made the whole process fun and stress free, being there with me every step of the way. He explained things well and was available to answer any of my questions. He was helpful, professional, honest, and timely throughout the whole process of searching for a home to actually buying. I have known David for a very long time. When we were ready to sell my Mother's house David was the first choice to handle this for my sister and I. My sister lives out of town so there was an added challenge which David went over and above in communicating with both of us. Mr. Godfrey was very responsive to phone calls, emails, and requests for information. I've dealt with a dozen or so real estate agents in my lifetime. Most I've dealt with only like to deliver good news (i.e. when a home finally sells or an inspection goes as planned)... Working in Sales & Marketing myself, I understand the reluctance of delivering bad news to clients. But it has to be done. The key is to be direct and honest - two key traits many real estate agents are missing. I've not had many good experiences with other agents. Maybe I've just had bad luck? Either way, no sense in risking it for yourself. You don't have to go through a dozen of them (like I have) to find a good one. He sold my home quicker than average, higher than expected, and all the while provided excellent customer service. I was to meet an other realator who did not call me back. I went through a list and found David. I explained what I was looking for and at our FIRST showings he had 6 showing lined up as well as showing how to use the road system effectively. Came back a second time ready to BUY and went out in a snow storm and found the house.
